VENUS II
Venus II is the high performance glider in the AXIS range and provides excellent responses and feedback to the pilot. The handling is precise and direct and the turn efficient.
Venus II is a glider made specially for competition and xc pilots, for pilots who appreciate the safety of serial gliders, and for pilots flying recreationally but with experience.
The design is based on that of the highly successful Venus and the Mercury competition gliders. With an improved glide and more homogenous handling the Venus II is a fast, dynamic, but also stable and predictable glider. It is designed for excellent glide at speed, direct handling and good behaviour. It provides excellent feedback while also feeling reassuring and solid. For some pilots it can be a final glider because of the ideal combination of high performance and safety.
Venus II has passed certification EN-D in size S and M and is expected to pass in sizes L-XL in the same category.

Lines
The lines are a very new material Liros PPSL, with a core of dyneema which offers minimal stretching and much higher durability. Liros prestreched Dyneema, main braid covered PPSL 200 and PPSL 160, middle and top galeries "comp lines" (unsheathed) DC 100 and DC 60. |
