COMPACT II

Just like the sky gods, new pilots need the best equipment. The speed that you learn and progress depends in part, on how safe and predictable your glider is. The Compact II is designed to give you many hours of fun and kilometres of relaxing flying while maintaining the high safety standards of the EN A (equivalent =DHV1) class throughout the whole speed range and even when accelerated.

AXISpara have focused on safety in the development the new Compact II . Our advanced testing and research has resulted in a glider with an even greater degree of passive safety while maintaining good handling and performance for a paraglider in the EN A class. The design of the line cascades reduces the overall length of lines needed and provides excellent launch characteristics and also reduces drag in flight, so that recovery is easy and efficient. The effective speed system makes this school glider a "speedy machine" for a glider in the EN A class.

AXISpara continue to use a proven Porcher Marine Skytex (9017 40 g/m2) cloth with water repellent finish for the sail & profile ribs. This carefully chosen cloth ensures the optimum balance of durability, lasting performance and strength.

The riser system and line lay out of the Compact II make for easy set-up and launch and contribute to the glider's good overall performance.
All this makes the Compact II a popular school glider, perfect for learning but also ideal for first xc flights.

- Skytex 9017 40 g/m2 with E38A "medium" finish
Lines
The lines are Liros PPSL, with a core of dyneema which offers minimal stretching and much higher durability.
The lines are secured in place on the maillons by plastic inserts.
